Our New Day Center will be "A Place to Call Home"
We are thrilled to announce the purchase of a new day center for our families, staff, and network! The new building, located at 6 Mulligan Street in Natick, will allow families the privacy and dignity they deserve while giving staff necessary space to work. A bigger facility will also enable our volunteers to share their skills with our families and the organization more effectively. Additionally, a large conference room will encourage deeper collaborations with other organizations that serve families, enabling us to further expand our services.
Please join us as Family Promise Metrowest launches its "A Place to Call Home" capital campaign to raise $1.2 million for our new home. To support our efforts, make a pledge or contact one of the following campaign committee members to receive more information:
Feels Like Home: A Benefit Concert for Family Promise Metrowest
On Sunday, April 29th, bring friends and family to a special Concerts From The Heart event, Feels like Home, featuring singer-songwriter Laura Vecchione. All proceeds from the concert will benefit Family Promise Metrowest, a community response to family homelessness. The concert will take place at The Center for the Arts in Natick (TCAN) starting with a 5:30 pm reception, featuring a slider bar by B.GOOD and desserts from Boston Gourmet Chefs, followed by a full band performance at 7:00 pm.
For the second year in a row, Concerts From The Heart is partnering with Family Promise Metrowest to merge music with a mission. Laura Vecchione together with Adonis Martin (piano), Raleigh Green (guitar), Richard Gates (bass), Jamaal Shoffner (drums), and Dionne Shoffner (background and accompanying vocals) will deliver an uplifting performance that feels just like home.
Reception and performance will take place in TCAN’s historic firehouse building at 14 Summer Street in Natick with appetizers, dessert and a cash bar. Tickets are available now for $35.
