Steps to Success Program Coordinator
With a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Oberlin College, Amanda began her career working with teens as a counselor for the Keene State College Upward Bound program. After earning a master’s degree in Environmental Studies, she transitioned into publishing, working for Orion magazine and Harvard Business Press, before becoming a freelance editor. Amanda also worked in marketing and community outreach for Energy Fitness & Gymnastics, which her family co-owned for over a decade. She is a member of the Board of Directors for SPARK Kindness and a graduate of the Leadership MetroWest class of 2017.
After volunteering on our event planning committee for three years, Amanda joined the Family Promise Metrowest team in September 2015 as the coordinator of our new Steps to Success program. We are fortunate to have her unique professional experience as she inspires families to be creative in establishing their own career paths for the future.
